To make our lives a lot easier: Is the latest mid/high end AT hardware guide up to date?

What's the best socket T motherboard for under ~$150? Is there any compelling reason to go over that? For educational purposes, what's the best Intel-branded motherboard for socket T (no price limit, I'm just curious)?

thanks.

...can you be any more specific than that? both companies make like 30 different boards, and they're all named with what looks like random letters and numbers.
