NO ICONS, NO Status BAR, just the desktop background

hi guys i need help with this. NO ICONS, NO Status BAR, just the desktop background. everytime it boots up it shows the icons for 2 secs and disappears. i could run explorer easily on task manager,. but i can't access my computer or my documnets. how do you fix this problem. ihave an K8n-E deluxe mobo and SP2. i tried repairing it by reinstalling sp2. didnt work!!. at first i got an error saying "cant open kernel driver asLM75.sys then after that it says cant load AsmiHwIo.dll. I already fixed this buy uninstalling ASUS Probe. but after rebooting this is what i get "JUST THE DESKTOP BACKGROUND) HELP PLEASE!!!!
