24 is kind of impressive. Of course Tropical Storm Allison dropped 26 on my house and nearly 40 elsewhere, but 24 is good too. ;)

We are a few miles SW of Greenville, and while we didn't get as much as places on the East coast, it was very noticeable.

Here is a pic I took of a "creek" just down my road. You can see the top of a small tree, and just barely make out the fence that is normally several feet back from the water.

I was in Nags Head, NC for the storms. The Outer Banks caught the sweet spot between the rain and Joaquin. We had a little rain and high surf/tides but nothing too bad, minor dune erosion.

Why does everyone always have to challenge somebody's disaster with stories of their own. It's not a competition.

I am ALIVE.

I was given a word 40 days ago... ARK. So my beard grew and I put on sack cloth. My woodworking skills exploded. The I rode Joaquin like he was my bitch.

We're under flash flood warnings again. WTH? Oh, well, guess I'll have to watch football all day.
