No horizontal scroll in bootcamp?

I'm using a friends Macbook running XP though bootcamp and I've noticed that there isn't horizontal scroll on the trackpad. Is this normal? Usually in windows, you run your finger on the bottom of the pad and it will scroll horizontally and in OS X, you swipe two fingers horizontally for scrolling but in bootcamp, neither option works. Is this normal is there a glitch?

Edit: for macbook specs
its a core2duo 2.16 with 2Gb ram running leopard

The single finger will absolutely not work, that is how 'scroll zones' work on PC laptops, but with the BootCamp drivers you should be able to 2 finger scroll both horizontally and vertically.

Is your friend running the latest BootCamp drivers?

See if you can get the 3.0 update from Apple's website, or elsewhere, it is very good.

Reinstalling drivers doesn't work. I've also downloaded some v3 drivers and they also don't seem to work...

Huh, very strange... maybe it doesn't work in XP... is everything else working ok though?

Everything else works fine as far as I know. I can do right click using either "crtl+button" or "two fingers button". The screen/sound responds to their proper shortcuts and the backlit keyboard senses darkness properly.

Very strange. Maybe I will throw XP* onto this MBP I am using and see what happens there. Not a direct comparison, but a test nonetheless.

(*note: I cannot stand XP anymore, and so if I don't end up doing this, just know that it's not you, it's XP)
