No hope for my Bookmarks?

This seems to happen to alot of people and the Firefox browser, but I just want to know if its now even possible for me to get some of my bookmarks back. I was playing a game, until it locked up, Alt+tab and it locked up on the desktop. After waiting for about 30 mins, I decided to push the power button of my PC to turn the thing off. Tired of the game, after I rebooted I deleted it. Then ran Ccleaner. Opened up firefox, and my 3 months worth of bookmarks are gone. I've tried looking for back ups, ect but no luck... This has happened before and I was successful at recovering them...

Just a word of advice--stow your bookmarks in a special folder on your hard drive as well as on some removable media. You'll thank me for that.

Corky, that was the first thing i tried as that helped me before. But this time, no luck. I can find my bookmarks.html even though the date is current 12/8/06 it does not contain my bookmarks up to this date, but from 3 months ago. Thanks for the tip Jadinolf. Can anyone reccomend me some other ideas/tips or software to recover these files besides the ones on mozillas site?

Does anyone know a program similar to Goback? Last time I used it my system couldn't get to the windows logon for some odd reason. File recovering software didn't work, is there any other way?
