Hi all. I just completed my first build and I owe a lot of thanks to everyone on this forum for the help I've received.
I see a message that says "No Hard Disk Is Detected!" during startup, but everything seems to be working fine.
I used an Intel D975XBX2 and a single Seagate 7200.10 320G hard drive. Any ideas what causes this message?
Thanks.

Are you using XP? Vista?

Are you seeing this message during your INSTALLATION of XP? Or did you successfully install the OS, it worked for a while, and now it's stopped working?

Normally, folks see this error when installing XP because XP doesn't have built-in drivers for their onboard SATA drive controller.

Check within the BIOS to see if it is set as the first drive under the boot settings.

I am using Windows XP. It installed successfully and seems to be running fine. I will check the BIOS settings. Thanks for the help.
