No "graphics boost" in eDrawings 2014 with FirePro W5000

This setting is greyed out in eDrawings.

I recall having this same issue with my Radeon HD5770. For that one I tweaked a setting in Catalyst that enabled eDrawings to allow that option.

With a SolidWorks-approved professional GPU and Catalyst Pro, I'd assume that "graphics boost" would be allowed as a default. I installed the latest WHQL drivers, but perhaps only an earlier version (9.003.3 is certified for SolidWorks 2014) is recognized by eDrawings.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike

I may have answered my own question; there's a key in the registry that can be toggled (set to 0) to turn off software rendering in eDrawings:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\eDrawings\e2014\General\Software OpenGL

Mine is set to 0 on my Quadro 600 and I have the option available in eDrawings 2013, so you might be right.
