I JUST got a 750 K7 OC to 900 from the Overclockerz store OCZ...now I'm using a big almost alpha sized HS & 2 nice Fans on it right now, but I've never been a huge fan of goup-it's been running 3 hours now no probs, give me some input.

Yeah, you're pretty insane. There is not point to getting an Alpha if you are not going to get goop. THe big layer of air in between probably isn't doing your CPU any favors.

You don't need a lot of goop, just a little. Really, don't make me cringe by not doing it.

Hehe, part of me didn't goup cause I didn't have any on-hand right now, but when my friend Tetsuo316 started sayin i was crazy it sorta made me wanna prove him wrong...I'll prolly grab some goup within the next couple days here, no worries :)

That brings me to another question-what goup?? actic silver or something...$$$??? Or is there something that works about as good for much less CA$H? Also..when i OC it to 1gig, yes i really am crazy w/o the goup :) it posts & goes into windows but after about 2 minutes it reboots...would the goup make me stable @ 1gig? Or do i need to pull more tricks out for that?

Athlons have a higher tolerance for heat. Your processor can probably handle the extra heat. No biggie.
