How much music?

Sandisk Sansa e2xx 8GB flash was just over $100 at Amazon recently, might still be, it's quite nice and works with NapsterToGo
The poo brown Zune 30GB HD model is $99 at Newegg
iPod Classic 160GB is $249?

I might get the 160GB iPod evenually to replace my 30GB, but what I really want is a 400GB player to hold my complete CD collection in lossless format :)

If you want some really good advice while being inundated with more information than you thought possible -- and don't want an iPod -- then check out anythingbutipod.com

It is a great site. Check out the COWON (iAudio) offerings. Tremendous audio quality.

damn.... those mp3-only devices are still damn expensive, huh? I was thinking a barebone mp3 player with 30 gigs of storage would cost me under $100 :|

iPod is the worst investiment ever.

Go with Zune, unless it's one of the classic iPods, which I have if you want to buy :)
