I dont know what I could possibly be doing wrong, but I have no network connection. I installed the drivers, the devices appear to be properly installed. I plug the cable in expecting to have internet connection, but I cant even get an IP address.

I tried disabling one at a time, repairing, reinstalling drivers, etc. Nothing is working. It has to be something stupid simple that I am missing or I would have gotten something when I searched.

I have not modified this board in any way. I am not overclocking. I am merely installing XP and drivers

make sure you plug it in the top of the two ethernet ports. If that doesn't solve your problem go into bios and make sure it's enabled.
