NO DVI to VGA Adaptor!?

I'm looking at buying a Radeon 8500LE and noticed this in the product description. Does the card need an adapter to hook it up to a CRT monitor? Or whats the big deal.
 
two video outputs on the card

primary: vga
secondary: dvi

so if you want to use a secondary monitor and it's vga only, then you'll need an adapter
 
After a quick check of the ati web site, I found this under product description.
