No drivers for XP?!

I just got a Diamond 10MB USB Phoneline network adapter. I plug it in and XP can't find drivers for it. the CD only has 98/ME drivers on it. I go to diamonds site to find out they no longer exist! How can I get this thing working in XP? Everything is supposed to work in XP!

yes I have done google searches, and found a site with XP drivers, but the link was for a file on the Diamond FTP which no longer works. So they EXIST but can't be found. (i KNOW they made them for 2000 which def should work w/ XP if I can find them). Also, I had a Voodoo3 for a while...yea that was a pain.

Diamond went under around the time XP came out. You might be able to get a Win2K driver to work with it.

Windows 2000 drivers

The following are the most recent Windows 2000 drivers for the HomeFree Phoneline USB product.
Notes:
These drivers are only designed for installing HomeFree USB as a standard NIC.
Internet Sharing software is not included. Windows 2000 includes built-in Internet Sharing software.

I tiried force-installing the Win2K drivers for my Diamond USB phoneline adapter, but it just caused BSOD. I ended up having to buy a D-Link model off eBay for about $7, which there are still a lot of. That's the only way I could solve the problem after searching and searching for a driver.
