I have a PC here that has been working fine up until this morning. Upon turning on the system, there is no display on the monitor. I have done some small diagnostic tests such as removing the video card all together and there are no beeps. I removed the memory and there is no beeps when the system turns on. Is this motherboard dead? Sorry I couldn't find a model and make on the motherboard.

The system is:

Athlon XP 1700+
256 MB DDR 2100
Geforce 2 4400MX
40 gb maxtor hd

Update: I tested the RAM and video in another PC and they both work fine. No beeps or nothing from the other PC.

Hi,
If you DISCONNECT everything from the mobo except -
cpu+fan/heatsink
power switch header
CASE speaker
psu

If you still don't get any beeps, you know the problem lies with one of the above.
