I got my fresh, new DVD RW drive in the mail today from newegg and I went to my computer to install it. I turned off my computer, grounded myself, unplugged the power from the back, and took out my old CD RW Drive and put in the DVD RW drive. I connected everything back up and booted the computer. I can see the fans spinning, the dvd tray was opening, and I could hear the hard drives chruning and the all the lights on the Mobo or on, but I can't get an input signal into my monitor.

My Setup

AXP 2500+ (No OC)
Shuttle AN35N Mobo (Nforce2 Ultra 400)
512 MB PC3200 Ram (2x256 MB Buffalo BH6)
9800 Pro 128 MB (No OC)
NEC 2510A DVD-RW Drive
Antec 300W PS

I tried reseting the CMOS, going back to the original configuration and running only the video card and memory on the motherboard; but none of those worked.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

try reseating the ram and video card and see if that makes any difference. sounds like you may have a video card that just puked. if you have another vid card, try that as a test. if not, it could be ram or power supply related as well. start with reseating the ram and video card and see if that helps you at all.
