A lot of otherwise very smart people went full crank or became major crank enablers. Prasad belongs to the latter group. Though he is trending towards the former as he keeps unilaterally overriding decisions from the FDA's vaccine review board. As I recall he basically said that the COVID vaccines should not have been approved even though we know for a fact that many lives were saved as a result. Some of this originally stemmed from his personal arguments with Marks who got it done and now he's waltzing with RFK JR's vaccine autism bullshit.

Just because you got a bunch of degrees doesn't mean you can't become a crank.
Yep, look up peter duesberg. He's was a cancer researcher who says AIDS is not caused by the HIV virus

I'm keeping an eye on this! If Trump restricts and bans COVID boosters, I'm going to get one anyway at gunpoint!

"My vaccination, or your LIFE!!" I will say!

Apocalypse Now! Exterminate them all!! Colonel Kurz had the answer!
I have gotten every COVID shot ASAP possible AFAIK, Moderna, then Pfizer (because Moderna wasn't available). I'll get another come Autumn.

Nvm poster is just spamming the same message and links at this point.

Weird that you don't think that we should follow the science.

We simply don’t know whether a healthy 52-year-old woman with a normal BMI who has had Covid-19 three times and has received six previous doses of a Covid-19 vaccine will benefit from the seventh dose.

Weird that from your very quote the science is unsettled and yet you are dying on this hill.

Carry on bro.

Weird that people are losing their minds over Dr. Prasad insisting on evidence-based medicine.

Prasad is a charlatan grifter who has long since tossed a lot of credibility out the window. For him to turn around and claim he's insisting on "evidence-based medicine" is fairly laughable.

Do you think all these other countries are not following the science?

It's interesting that Canada's schedule says:

"The schedule for most previously vaccinated individuals is one dose per year, with two doses per year for some higher risk individuals."

It also says earlier on that those under 65 can still receive vaccination. And then they also maintain the recommendation that pregnant people get vaccinated, whereas the FDA and what have decided to backtrack for no reason beyond having kooks in charge.

These things suggest that the table and information published in that NEJM article are dishonestly presented to push a narrative of reducing vaccine use in the US.

Seems that this administration fucks up everything. What a fiasco. OTOH, it appears that Canada's doing it right.

At this pace, the countries will ask the US any proof of vaccination and that would hurt the USA at the end.
