I have this settings on my server :

Name IPv4 gateway IPv6 gateway Preferred DNS Alternate DNS
vMotion stack -- -- -- --
Provisioning stack -- -- -- --
Default TCP/IP stack 192.168.1.1 -- 192.168.1.2 --

my software vendor wants to access 192.168.1.2 to put some updates but was unable to access it. When i ping the IP it gives Reply time out. What can i do?

The mention of vMotion suggests that its an ESXi host, no? Are you able to launch the vSphere client and see if perhaps it was on DHCP and is no longer 192.168.1.2? Also, is the vendor accessing through your workstation? If not, they won't be able to access it through the internet unless the necessary ports (they'll know) are forwarded.

192.168.1.2 is your dns server.

Your software vendor will need an external IP... don't do that, just get the iso and install yourself.

If you're running esxi, the server ip is visible on the main login/splash yellow screen.
