Here are the pics of my old setup versus my new setup. I was really surprised to see that the temps did not change. I spent so much time on this one too :frown:

I definetly can't deny that :D. The older setup looks messy and unprofessional compared to my new one. With my new setup I don't waste any tubing

There are a few reasons that I can think of.

1. Your temp probes might be messed up/inaccurate. For example, my motherboard for some reason will not read the correct temps from the BIOS when it is in Windows. BIOS says it's 40C, Windows says it's +70C!
2. Your old video block worked better in a low flow loop while your new video block works the same in a high flow loop.
3. While I think your pump/res combo is interesting, I have a suspicion that it might not be working too well. Because the pump's intake hole is not flush with the wall of the white elbow tube, flow could be restricted. Some of the water that is being pushed towards the pump intake is probably missing the intake and hitting against the area all around the intake.

1. I don't know about the bios readings differing from windows but I am convinced that they are not completely accurate readings either way. I was thinking of putting my own probe on the waterblock. It would have to be on the side so the temp will be lower anyways cause the core is hottest. So this may not be good either.

2. My old blocks flow seemed to be less restricted that my new (maze4) block. When I opened up the maze4, i saw that the opening hit the block at a 90 degree angle. Also, the channels were not deep but there were many channels. IDK about this one.

3. In hind sight I wish I cut off the lip around the opening, then it would have been flush (or near it). But since it is Gooped on, I won't be taking it apart...ever. However I still think that the intake should be much better with the res attached compared to when it was just a tube going in.

Well, are you getting the overclocks that you want? If you are and the temps are reasonable there shouldn't be a problem. There's not much point to getting that 2C lower temp if your system isn't going to be running any faster.

No, I do not want to try overclocking yet. I don't have an agp/pci lock and I'm using a raptor drive so overclocking is difficult for me.

I'm not saying that I'm angry I didn't get cooler temps. I was just surprised that the temps stayed the same. I thought I'd get at least a 2 deg change.
