no cellular service over data center

So recently my seat at work was moved (3rd floor) to over the data center (2nd floor). Since then my blackberry and iPhone get no cellular service (AT&T). We don't have wireless in the building either (Security reasons). Is there anything i can do to help my signal on either of my phones. Help desk was of no use and said they would look into it. I am concerned since in case of emergencies almost everyone has my cell and blackberry numbers. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have 2, all they require is power + ethernet.

You have to put them near a window when you first register them, then you can move them in the building elsewhere...coverage is about 8000square feet or so i'd say, depending on walls and whatnot.

otherwise Wilson Wireless probably makes something universal you could use, if you have ATT/Verizon/TMobile/etc that you need, but they can be a bit pricier.

Try a different phone company, its what people at my work have done also.

Depending on the number of your total employees/subscribers, you may be able to have ATT come out and install a local repeater.
If that's not possible, use a microcell as ViviTheMage suggested:

One of my colleagues had to use it at his house, where signal is otherwise non-existence.
He said it works great.
