Hi,
I had to reformat my HDD and when I got doing all the software installs my cd rw and my dvd drive weren't in my computer. I went to the websites and tried to download the drivers but there are none available. Any ideas how I can overcome this problem?
TIA
Mike

Windows 98se with 2 hard drives and a cd rw and a dvd drive. They were working fine before I blew out my system. I thought win 98se would have the drivers in the OS.
Thanks
Mike

If your drives aren't working...how did you install windows? Did this happen after the install? If so, try and replace ribbon cable and make sure its on correct w/ the jumpers set right on the drives. If you still can't see your drives in windows and you can in the bios. Most likely it was a bad install, try and reinstall windows!
