Perfect casting for Joe Exotic, IMO.

The perfect balance of crazy/cheesiness/unpredictability.

Just when you think nothing could top what happened in a previous episode, like Billy May's always said, "But wait, there's more!"

I don't really like Nicholas Cage much of anything he does anymore, but I'll tune in for some more Joe Exotic material.

And there's the problem. It's like trying to do a parody of daytime soap operas, NOTHING can compare to the real thing. Once you're reached the very peak of over-the-top anything more is heading downhill. Joe Exotic was a caricature to end all caricatures, where do you go from there? No matter what Cage does people will look at his performance and think "nope, not crazy enough".

I was rooting for the tiger that was dragging this idiot around by the ankle. I thought trump was the biggest narcissist on the planet but I think this guy might beat him... maybe.
