No Bios with 2 day old Motherboard and CPU

I recently overhauled my desktop pc, but as it is now, I have wasted almost $3000. This was what I bought:

MSI X99A SLI PLUS MBoard
Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 3.3GHz
XFX PRO Series 1050W Black Edition Power Supply
G.Skill 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 Ripjaws Blue 2400MHz RAM
Arctic i30 CPU Cooler
Asus 27" monitor
Crucial MX200 250GB SSD

To this, i added my old Asus Radeon HD 7950.

I got it up and running originally, but as soon as any load was placed on the graphics card, as in loading a game, the whole computer would just shut down and restart. But now I dont even get a bios appearing on the screen.

All fans still turn on and it looks like it should be running, but nothing.

I would normally just test the parts in another pc, but i dont know anyone else that has DDR4 or a haswell-e cpu capable motherboard, or a haswell-e cpu. Please help.

Are they in the right place. from the manual it is in 1-3-5-7 from left to right for the first four.and right to left for the second one.and to enter bios press repeatedly the delete key.

Shutting down under load just screams bad power supply (even the best brands can still produce a bad unit) or short to me. I presume you've double-checked all the power cables on the new build and made sure they are firmly inserted? Remove each cable and re-plug it to be sure.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, I'd go back to basics. Pull everything out of the case. Set the motherboard up on a piece of cardboard or an anti-static bag, install one memory module and the video card. Make sure all the overclocking features are disabled on the motherboard. Try to power it up. If that doesn't work, you might try to disconnect the power, then switch to the backup BIOS using the switch on the motherboard, and try to boot again. Another thing to try is to unplug the power and try to reset the BIOS to defaults, then repower the system.

If you have a spare video card of any type, it might be worth swapping it out to ensure the card hasn't failed on you. If you don't have a spare, if you have your old board and power supply it would be worth hooking your old motherboard up to a power supply, install a memory module and the video card, and power it up to see if the card still works. Another option would be to try to power the new base system (MB/CPU/one memory module and video card only) using your old power supply (if compatible) to see if it will boot up.

I'd worry more about a bad power supply or motherboard than I would a blown CPU at this point. Push comes to shove, you can always RMA the motherboard and power supply.

Yes, it sounds like either the video card or the power supply.

Buy or borrow a cheap video card just to test with?

try clearing the cmos..the manual will tell you how. Try removing some components to get the absolute minimum to boot. Does the MB have its own video connection?

It doesn't seem to have an onboard video port, according to the manual.

What PSU do you have?
XFX PRO Series 1050W Black Edition Power Supply (It's in the OP)

Welcome to AT. While it's nice to see so many offering good suggestions to Emmkay67, it's most helpful to read what has already been posted.

I have taken everything out except for 1 stick of ram (and then tested with swapping the ram incase it was that 1 particular stick), I have swapped the graphics card with a quadro FX 5800 and a RADEON 580.

I have quadruple checked the cpu, the pins in the cpu bed, and the cpu fan/heatsink.

The graphics cards work in my old pc. I have even taken my power supply and tested in my old computer and it seems to work fine.

There is no onboard GPU.

The most frustrating thing is it all seems to power up ok, but then nothing. Im quickly running out of walls and doors to put my fist through in frustration. Please save my apartment 🙂

I think you've reached the point where you have to consider that you might just have the bad luck to have ended up with a bad-out-of-box motherboard. You'll have to decide if you want to RMA the board to MSI for a swap, or return it to where you purchased it. Each has its pros and cons.
