Anyone know of a few credit cards offering htis now? Would like to switch credit card companies, and not get penalized for what I owe them

be careful... if oyu have a balance on a credit card and then use the balance transfer, make sure that they allow it all to be lumped together as owing one amount. I have seen where they make you pay off the entire transfer first, while whatever balance you had before the transfer racks up interest at a much higher rate.

If you transfer a balance, never use the card. The balance with the LOWER apr gets paid first. Lets say your APR on purchases is 9.9% and your balance transfers is 0.0%. If you charge something, it will stay into the 9.9% APR until you pay off your 0.0% balance first. The interest keeps piling up.

from what i understand, the trick is that if you charge something to the card, it all instantly turns into your normal rate, and they pwn you for interest.
