I was going to ask this on Yahoo answers, but 90% of the answers there suck balls. Here about 85% of the answers suck...Nah nah just kiddin, you're a great audience :)

Often, lately, I have been waking up and not eating for a long period of time. Like today I woke up at 7:45am, didn't eat until 3 pm, just wasn't hungry until then, and even then i wasn't too hungry. I've been doing that a lot lately, would think it would be helpful for losing weight, but i don't see any results yet :p - There have been many days in the past month or two where I've only had one meal a day.

Also yesterday, I woke up at 7am, and didn't eat until 9 PM, I only ate because i was out for someones birthday, I wasn't even hungry. That's crazy though, right? I mean, it's not normal to wake up and go 14 hours without eating. I'm sure I could have one of many diseases or disorders, let's try to narrow it down. Doesn't happen all the time, but it's happening more and more often.

Depressed lately? Drinking a lot of caffiene? Smoke a lot cigarettes? Drinking a lot of booze? All of these can affect your appetite.

I often find that I am hungrier later in the day when I start with a small breakfast. It's pretty easy to have a bowl of cereal, some juice and grab a banana on the way out the door to eat once I get to work. Regular balanced meals at the same time each day will help you lose weight much better than eating once a day at different times which is screwing up your metabolism.

if you don't eat regularly for a prolonged period of time, your body will adjust and you won't be hungry as often as you should be.

Ok, I'll just go ask my doctor for some marijuana and hopefully that will do the trick...:)

Well, I'm 99% sure that the no appetite thing is due to medicine or vitamins i've been taking (most likely the meds). I can't complain though i guess, i've been eating one meal a day for the past week or two, hopefully i'll start to lose weight. Think a one meal a day diet would work well at all? :p

I keep having days where i go 12+ hours without food, but I don't see anything bad happening from that.

I dunno, I've heard it's bad to have only one meal a day, and much better to have 5-6 little meals throughout the day. Though that's not my style.

I haven't ate all day again, i got up at 11 am and now it's 1:30 am (sunday) and i'm still not hungry. I hope i lose some weight like this...but i imagine it's not too healthy, am i wrong?

I've always been like that...I hardly ever get hungry, but I eat when I'm supposed to. Back a few years ago I might eat lunch in between classes and then go home around 7 or 8 and just forget to eat dinner...just slipped my mind.

I don't think it's a bad thing, just eat when you want and make sure you get your nutrients. Since I'm working out more these days, I eat to get the necessary protein/fat/carbs/etc...although I almost puked at the gym this morning, it was great. :p
