CONFIG:
Motherboard: Asus CUSL2 Rev 1.02
Bios: 1003 beta 2
Memory: PC100
CPU: P3-850 S370
Video: Creative Geforce 256 (SDR)
Drivers: Nvidia 6.26
OS: Win ME + Win 2000
COMPLAINT:
When running the system in standard mode, eg 100/100/33 (850Mhz), all AGP-modes are available, being 1x, 2x and 4x. Also Geforce is capable running 4x.
This has been detected by both WCPUID and Powerstrip.
However when overclocking anything above 105/105/35 (>892Mhz) a very annoying situation occurs, AGP-mode 4x is no longer there ! Only 1x and 2x remain. For a system capable of doing 120/120/40 (1020Mhz) i find it hard to buy that this AGP-mode 4x disappears by a whisker over standard clocking.
QUESTION:
Anybody else out there experiencing the same problem ?
Some hints or tips maybe ?
Thank you,
Knorp.
