no advanced settings tab in win2k

i have the i815 chipset and a 40gig maxtor and a 6 gig maxtor both on the primary ide channel and when i go into the device manager i have no advanced settings tab there. does anyone know why it would be missing? also win2k says they are scsi when they are actually ide

If you have installed the Intel ATA Storage Drivers, this will be the case. DMA is automatically enabled; detection as SCSI is purely cosmetic and does not affect the performance of your system in any way.

Make sure that you are using the latest Intel ATA Storage drivers, version 6.10.11, available here at Intel.
