netbooks use 64 bit? and why would 10.1 matter as the gpu is too slow to play any game where you could enable 10.1 features anyway.

I'm amazed this is news.
"Intel terrible at drivers for GPUs."

Anyone who honestly expected something even vaguely competent from Intel with regards to drivers was clearly dreaming. They may make really good CPU hardware, and potentially acceptable GPUs, but their driver support is still abysmal.

Complain all you want about NV or AMD, but they are still far better than Intel.

SNB's IGP doesn't support OpenCL so I doubt Atom does.

For once Intel showed a little intelligence in their GPU choice, but forgot to replace their entire GPU driver team. Cedar Trail has PowerVR SGX545 graphics and supports OpenCL, however Intel will most likely only support OpenCL in Windows 8 using these chips.

Intel is getting better. i am evaluating Core i3-2105 right now and the HD 3000 IG is enough to play DX10.1 games at 720p. You couldn't say that with anything previous.

And Intel must be working with game devs. i can see where Hyper-Threading is having a big e.. ... well, it will be in my Core i3 2105 vs Phenom II 970 X4 - HyperThreading in Gaming, review this week.
