So I sent in my Thinkpad for service to replace the mobo. Since the mobo was replaced I had to reapply the no-1802 hack in order to get my Intel Pro 2200BG working again. However after I applied the hack, the option to hit F11 on boot screen for the IBM recovery partition is gone. The F11 option under BIOS is greyed out and unselectable, when I start a Win XP installation the partition is listed as inactive. How can I get the partition back to reinstall IBM's Win 2K?

Sounds as if you sent the TP to them with the hdrive in it. Never do that.
IBM used to be good about this. Call them, chances are they will send you the recovery cd's ($40.00) free of charge. It's better than having the hidden partition and if you want it, I think you can opt to reinstall it as well.
