I'm wanting to change my desktop resolution to 1600x1200. However, it is not listed when I go to Display Properties. My Intel Integrated and Dell Plug and Play should support it. How do I get it to work?

Is your dell a LCD??
If so your max res that you can use is probably 1280x1024 since thats the physical size of the pixels. It's not like a CRT.

Second, why would anyone want 1600x1200 on a 17in monitor?
Thrid, if it is a CRT you need to check to make sure your monitor can support that resolution. If it does you should be able to override mabe by unchecking some safety box?

Display>Settings>Advanced>Monitor there is a box for "Hide Modes that this monitor cannot display" I wouldn't reccomend it though, since it can cause your problems...
