No 1600x1200?

Wondering why in Tiger Woods, Deus Ex, UT2k4, NFSU I can't access anything above 1280x1024??? I currently have a 22" NEC Multisync and a 9800NP, any ideas?
 
When you right-click on the desktop, select Properties, and look under the Settings tab, does it say "Default Monitor" or "NEC Multisync Blah-Blah on ATi Radeon 9800?" If the former, hit up the NEC website and download the appropriate monitor .inf file and install it. That should let you select the full range of your monitor's supported resolutions.

Plug and play drivers give you all the modes the video card supports. Monitor drivers are useless.

This problem happens to me too when I use horizontal spanning for dual monitors, the highest resolution I can select in games is 1024x768.
 
Hm weird...but yeah I can goto 1920x1400 @ 85 HZ so I think the Plug and Play drivers are fine.....I think it may be a glitch with the 4.2's 🙁

I'm using Cat 4.2's, UT2K4 my highest selectable resolution is 1920x1200. The rest of the games you mention I don't have installed (I was thinking of playing Deus Ex again though)
