so? Sony's also directly contributing to multi-platform development by offering an engine toolkit (for free!) that after development, is easily transferred to the PS3.

So, everyone that hates Sony should realize that the PS3 is actually helping to make games across all platforms possibly better! :thumbsup: to you Sony

White Engine is a piece of crap and even square knows it. When they trailed Unreal 3.0 they were blown by it.

Warcrow and I were just discussing exclusivity regarding whether the Mass Effect series would be ported to the PS3. Despite being adamant about my "Nothing's announced, so it shouldn't be assumed" stance, I certainly wouldn't yell "Nooooo!!!" at the idea of Playstation owners getting the best RPG since Oblivion. That's fanboy-ish as hell. We're all gamers here. Did you happen to be one of the people that got pissed off and signed a petition to Capcom about Devil May Cry 4 going multi-platform?

MS owns the publishing rights to Mass Effect 1 so that will never hit the PS3. It also sounds like they're willing to pay through the nose to keep 2 and 3 exclusive to the 360/PC as well.

Seriously the fanboy attitude gets you nowhere. I used to be an Xbox fanboy during the Xbox/PS2 era, but now I try to be neutral. I still only own a 360, but I would like to pick up a PS3 in the near future for Blu Ray and some of exclusives. Personally I think it would be great if every title was on every platform, that way you could play it on the console of your choice.
