I recently have been having an issue with IE 6 hanging while trying to reply to PMs or sometimes while clicking links. This has not happened before, and when I try to open in a new window, it shows:
"Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable."
The address is: javascript:winopen('sendprivatemessage.cfm?*******(the rest of PM info)
When I get links that hang, I can hit the stop button, the address will show in the bar, then I can hit Go, and the page will load.
Any idea what the issue can be? I cannot reply to PMs at all. 🙁
EDIT: I fixed the problem by restoring a backup registry using WinRescue XP 😉
