Call me a noob, but how would you turn the poer on on the second powersupply? Doesn't it need to be connected to the motherboard the be powered on?

he can use a wire, it's often used when mounting watercooling.

Honestly I wouldnt think there would be any harm. But WHY?
Buy a $20 Antec 300-350w and run it all just fine.

i've run out of disposable income tihs month so i cant buy a new psu. ill have to wait till next paycheck, but yhe 2nd psu has a swithc to turn on so it shouldnt be a problem im just windering if there will be damage to the drives.
