btw, I second ICXRa's opinion about 2000 or xp. XP might be a little more friendly with home apps/multimedia stuuf from wha tI understand. Haven't played with it much though.
Yes but with XP dont you have to have a separate disk and code for every computer in your house that you put it on, unlike the other Os which using the one disk and code can go on all your personal computers?
That is why I didnt invest in XP I am too cheap.

Sort of! you can really get by with it by only installing it every 120 days. But you are supposed to be able to copy over some file. But I say to just buy a copy and wait the 3 months to upgrade another computer.
