How do i rename all the subfolders in a directory at once?

Like, i will type in:
ren *.blah *.blahblah

but how do i do it so it does it in all the folders in that directory instead of just the files in that directory?

Yea, i just repeated myself...so, i need help..lol

Don't know if you can rename all directories, files it's easy, but from what I remember you can only do one directory at a time.

You don't need a batch file afaik, you just need a for loop. In a bourne shell, it'd be something like

for i in *.blah; do mv "$i" "${i}blah"; done

The dos solution is somewhat similar, but I don't know it off-hand (I never got too advanced with dos :))

Google it. Surely it's explained somewhere out there.
