Have your experiences with their GSM network been as horrible as mine?

I estimate that 6 or more calls out of 10 end in a dropped call.

Anyone else suffering the same way?
I have a couple friends that were on GSM and they switched back to TDMA. I'm thinking of doing the same.

Thanks

I don't live in NJ but Cingular in So Cal use to be pretty bad. I use to get network busy when trying to dial out and sometimes i'd get dropped calls. A lot of my friends switched to AT&T or Verizon.

which GSM phone are you using? That makes a big difference. As far as other areas of the country, each area is different, for the same provdier. Cingular is the highest rated here in Dallas, and mine works great. Out in Cali, I have heard that the GSM network has been greatly improved recently.

In NJ i get terrible signal quality with Verizon. If I don't stand in the right spot in my room, the call gets dropped everytime.
