NitroPDF Professional version 5.5 is now out

Thanks for the tip. Been running NPDF since version 3 - now got a free upgrade to 5.5.0.16 to my existing 5.4.X. Very nice! It puts a nice tool bar in Office 2007, and the GUI is very Office 2007.

Thanks for the tip.

I am happy that it finally works in Vista x64, but now I am bummed 🙁 that the PDF printer driver doesn't work in protected mode (took me some time to figure out that was the problem.)

Guess I will have to continue using CutePDF for printing PDF's of web pages.

Not sure about this - but I can print web pages as PDF files using the PDF 5 driver. I just did it and captured the result as a jpg to illustrate:

PDF Print

What I did was open a web page, then hit FILE. PRINT, and in the Printer selection menu, selected "Nitro PDF Driver 5."

It works using the 32-bit version of internet explorer, or the 64-bit version of internet explorer when protected mode is turned off. I cannot get it to work in IE 64 protected mode which cutepdf handles just fine.

EDIT I am not saying that I won't be using NitroPDF. I was just hoping that I could remove CutePDF and just have one application for all creation and editing.
