Nissan says Fuga Tokyo concept will be next Infiniti M45

Well, duh. 😛 They didn't keep that "secret" very well.

That is a great-looking car; it will blow current M45 sales out of the water.

Well, at least we have "confirmation" now 😉 Hopefully this'll be a hit with americans, so hopefully Nissan kciks up some great advertising and buzz for this model. I can't wait to see what they do for the next generation Q45 😉

The pictures make it tough to tell how big it is.

Here are the dimensions in inches: L 194.1 - W 72.8 - H 59.4 - Wheelbase 116.1

It's bigger than a G35 (obviously), but not by that much. It's a hair larger than the new Maxima.

It looks like a big G35. Anyone have any specs?

None have been released yet. All we know is it's going to have an iteration of the VQ V6 engine, and the VK V8 engine, So you probably looking at 270-ish HP from the V6, and 340hp for the V8.

For comparison, the outgoing M45 is 197.2 inches long, 69.7 inches wide, 57.6 inches tall.

Interesting that they're going to offer a V6 M35. It will help fill the price gap between the G and the current M. I wonder if they will offer an AWD M35.

Now let's just hope the concept styling makes it to production without some hideous alterations.

You whats pretty interesting?

Infiniti is only surviving today on the strenght of two models, the G and the FX. The rest are pretty insignificant sales wise, so they don't really do anything to promote the brand.

But its pretty cool to see that a brand being quite popular today (100x more popular compared to 5 years ago) based on only two models.

I hope they have a hit with the M45, they really need it..and it will push the brand even higher!

The FF-L and FM platforms are spawning all the vehicles that have turned Nissan and Infiniti around. I hope their engineers got some healthy raises.
