Nissan sawblade rims on my '99 Jetta?

Check out what I'm talking about here I just took the tirerack.com image of my car and gimped the sawblade wheels onto mine from another pic

Have 2 friends with Maximas, one is a '98 the other is a '93. Guy with the '98 has some nice rims but is buying some new ones, and selling his current ones to the guy with the '93. I currently have steelies w/ VW hubcaps, but the guy with the '93 will sell me his old rims and tires for like $10 each.

I'd have to do something with the center cap where it says Nissan, sand it down or fill it in then paint the caps red to match my car or something. Anyone ever seen a Jetta with Nissan sawblade wheels IRL? Just wondering if it looked good

No do not mutilate your jetta with that crap. I would rather ride on black steelies then having some nasty wheels.:disgust:

I can't even see the picture, but it sure sounds like a bad idea. There are plenty of nice wheels out there for you car.

Don't ever, ever, ever put wheels on a car from a different manufacturer unless you can totally remove any nameplates or anything on them.

we've measured the bolt pattern and offsets and they look compatible, real test would be actually trying to switch one out

At the very least, buy the wheels for $10 each and put them on ebay if you decide to not keep them.

Just gotta be careful with rims you're not sure of. An improper offset will change the geometry of your suspension.
