If it can fit into my garage, i am thinking of going and getting one.

Looks like i can get one for around 32500 for a base model with an aftermarket sunroof.

i can add dvd, navi, and a nice mp3 sound system for around $4500 from the local car toys.

that'll get me a decked out armada with everything except leather for around $37K

seem reasonable?

i dunno about the armada but i saw the luxury cousin QX56 and portions of the interior looked cheap to me.

It's HUGE man. I was checking it out at the dealer...it seems like a quality truck. That V8 is a gem and the chassis is solid.

I found the interior to be decent, the main plastic that runs across the passenger side and around the center console is high quality and soft. The doors are nice, only the center console looks plain and boring.

But that V8 sounds SWEEET.

But again, it's huge. Have fun parking that beast.

I sat inside it and I thought it was massive inside. Second row has tons of room and third row as decent amount of room.

Only negative could be that the second row has captain chairs so you lose out on seating space.

After buying a $37k vehicle, I doubt a few extra dollars a month will make a difference

If the interior is a copy of the Titan, then it just reeks of cheapness. The one I sat in sorely disappointed me in terms of interior quality. The plastic felt 99 cent toy store quality. My friend's 03 Ram even had a better interior.

From an occupant point of view, this adds up to a roomy interior, particularly in the front-seat area, but it doesn't add up to immense cargo volume. With a max of 97 cubic feet, the Armada was fifth of five in this category

Yeah, I don't think Ameesh is too concerned about gas if he's looking at putting roughly $5K of aftermarket audio and video toys in a brand new $32 vehicle.

13city/18highway

I'm sure almost any other SUV other than a select few (H2, etc) could provide better gas mileage.

Does he need an SUV that bad?

I like the looks of it a lot... and I'm real picky about SUV looks... the only question is IF it can fit into your garage. ;) Get a big ole grill/brush guard for it too, please!

And BTW, Actaeon, mine gets 12/15mpg... I don't mind it, but I don't drive everyday either. Have fun with your car (econoboxes are dull), quit worrying about gas prices if it's a necessity. Bottled water isn't, and we pay how much for that ?

Let's all quit our jobs and save the earth!!! I mean, really, who cares? That gas would just sit there if we didn't use it. No use in that.

1st year model vehicle=bad & it gets horrible gas mileage. Other than that it looks promising.

Why would you want a car without leather seats? Unless you have kids, that is.

Actually I'm against leather seats because it's HOT as hell in the summer and COLD as hell in the winter...

Don't leave your car outside? That's bad for the leather anyways. Use a sunshade when you have to park out in the sun... That's just to protect your leather.

To protect YOU from your leather, start your car and let it warm up\cool off before you go somewhere.

Well worth the trouble for ease of cleaning, comfort, and classiness. Although the leather in my TL is absolute garbage. The leather in my old Ford F150 Lariat was much much nicer. Ventilated leather = cheap.

You asked a question, I provided an answer. ;) Still true for the cold though...

The seats have a heater/cooler option. Noting like heated seats in the winter...hmmmmmmmm
