heading up to limerock tomorrow evening to participate in the Nismo Performance Academy (http://www.nismoperformanceacademy.com) on the 5th

this will be my first foray in road racing ... up until now I've been a drag racing guy... figured I would give this a shot since it's free and a great learning experience with professional driving instructors

I'm pumped! i'll take many pictures and videos
 
i assume this isn't a free event, since they ask for a code. Did they give you the code when you bought the GTR?
 
Nice. I've done a few track days/school recently so I would recommend watching an onboard video for the track ahead of time. Makes it a little easier to figure out the track once you're riding it.

i got an email with an invite... it is invite only but free if you are invited

this is more akin to a skip barber school deal with a Nissan twist then a pure track day
 
I had a freaking awesome time ... i'll post some video's soon... Nissan actually had an entire professional video crew there to take video's of your experience... I should have my hands on it soon

Nothing like getting out on a road course with the only limits being you and the laws of physics.

When I had my miata, I did at weekend performance driving school at Sebring. Was amazed at how much I learned.

Sounds like you had great fun! Looking forward to seeing more of your video.

edit oops. wrong thread. Nice video. Surprised they don't require any safety gear on a road course.

this event's instructors were all from skip barber racing... I absolutely learned a ton from them
 
What's the Juke? Is that like a souped up stolen Suzuki Swift?

I'm pretty jealous eh. I'd love to even just have a GTR someday, let alone track day training and stuff.
