Haven't listened to "Nevermind" in years but dug it up while cleaning my room.. Never realized how freaking scary the song "Polly" was until now.. Sheesh, perhaps the most subtley deranged song I've heard in a long time..

If I'm not mistaken Kurt wrote it about a girl that was kidnapped after a punk show and was tortured (raped? don't know exactly) by some guy. She eventually escaped and ran out of his car when he stopped for gas one time.

I haven't read the Nirvana book I have in a while (excellent read, it's called "Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana") but this is pretty close.

One of the first songs I learned to play on the guitar, the chords and strumming are really easy!

It's about a girl that was kidnapped, raped, and tortured with a blow torch.. The freakiest thing about it is that it's written from the perspective of the raper.. Spooky as hell and very well written..
