Nirvanas last CD?

I know there was a cd released not too long ago that had a bunch of Nirvana's best songs, and also included the unreleased "You Know You're Right".

I'm just wondering, I remember reading somewhere that the group was working on a new CD right before he died. They had 7 or 8 songs finished and that "You Know You're Right" was finished 2 days before Cobain killed himself.

I was really thinking that the CD that was released just a little while ago would have these 7 or 8 songs.

Does anyone have any idea if there are any plans to realease these songs?
 
From what I understand, there is a lot of stuff Nirvana did that may never see the light of day. There is quite a bit of litigation occuring between the former members, Courtney Love, the record company, and other interested parties.

it's the same way with a lot of bands. they write a lot of stuff that could be awesome but give up on it/decide not to release it.

it's sad how much you hate this guy. what could he possibly have done to you as an individual for you to harbor so much hatred towards him?

have you ever heard of the incesticide collection? they are a bunch of nirvana b-sides and unreleased tracks. i just downloaded most of them
