All of the electronic stores in my area are sold out of the Wii's. Anyone know what's going on? Is this a ploy from Nintendo?
 
They did sell an absolutely ridiculous amount of them during the Winter holiday season. I believe they sold more during that December than they ever did any other month since the system launched. I wouldn't be surprised if the stockpile of them was nearly depleted and they are struggling to replenish it.
 
Same where I am at also, nothing online either unless you want to pay a premium price on amazon. Newegg gives an ETA of 2/23.

On targets website they have a console available but you have to buy a combo pack. I watched bestbuy's website for a couple of days and was able to snag one when they got more in stock, they were gone within an hour. Good luck finding one
