I wanted to hear from anyone running the Wii on a very large television (~10ft diagonal image) if there are any issues with the sensor bar not detecting a large enough range?
 
It didn't work with my super scope on SNES if that helps at all lol. I'm curius to know the answer to your question too.
 
I haven't tried it, but playing on my 42" TV is a bit weird. The control isn't based on where you point the remote on the TV, but where you point it on the sensor bar.

So I believe that you'd still have to huddle in the middle near the bar.

NES gun is no go as well 🙁

( I don't think either really applies to the technology used in the Wii though 😛 )
