In honor of the release of Super Mario Sunshine in the US, Nintendo has announced that they will be cooking the largest bowl of pasta. The largest bowl to date has weighed in at 2564 lbs., but Nintendo's bowl is planned to easily top it, weighing it at a whopping 2700 lbs.
Gamers that show up to the San Francisco event will have the chance to plunge into the immense bowl in hopes of winning a trip to Hawaii.
The event will take place at the corner of Stockton and Columbus in Washington Park, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on August 22nd. The pasta is being provided by Buca di Beppo, an Italian restaurant franchise known for its family size orders.
