I lost all faith in Nintendo after they queered up Mariokart 64. All they had to do was make the same game with some new battle mod maps, but NOOOOOO...they just had to fvck it all up.

WTH are you talking about? Mario Kart 64 was awesome.

That game was trash. Big Donut? Come on...a retarded howler monkey could have thought of a better map design. The multiple layers on other maps were just confusing and out of place for a combat racer...the 3 shell shield was cool but unbalancing and there was virtually no decernable difference between drivers.

Super Mario Kart was an amazing game, I had mastered all kinds of crazy moves in battle mode for that game. Nintendo ruined it for 64. They were just showing off with new 3D graphics and neglecting the gameplay. I have yet to play the newest one.

That's your problem... the new one owns.

So someone better start talking smack on Ford for the new Mustang real quick then if that's how it's gonna go. So what? Nintendo took something they created decades ago and improved upon it with modern technology and ideas. I guess I don't see what point you're trying to make here.

i agree, so what is the point? how does nintend == pwned? should ever new car that comes out absolutely have to be a different unique style?

i think DS is gonna be another GBA... god knows how many ports, and no real original games.. most of the games i've seen on GBA are SNES ports

Maybe this will open the door for Sega's emergence once again?

Let's hope so! I wouldn't mind seeing a "Sega Exodus". It would use a catridge with both nvram for the logic and some of the graphics, and a builtin double sided mini-dvd for the graphics and audio (patented by me of course).

Imo...the new one double dash doesn't have enough shortcuts.....even the ones they have don't really save a lot of time....but it is fun as hell tho...except when my wife owns me..

Ok, you must be some kind of simpleton if you can't handle multi-tiered levels. How are they confusing? C'mon...

When I was first playing Double Dash with my roomate I was disappointed. I thought they had taken a step back, oversimplifying the battle stages. After more play though, I found it to be just as fun as the others. I think you'd like this one more than MK64 PingSpike, the battle stages are really simple.

Ok, back to the orignal topic. Look at the new Mustang, is it not innovative because it takes cues from earlier Mustangs?

This almost sums up how I feel. I think DS will have some slightly more innovative games, but I'm just wating to see an onslaught of N64 ports and Pokemon Pink, Purple, Lavender, Off-White, Black, Orange, and Clear. I haven't shelled out money in nearly a decade for a Gameboy game. I got a Link to the Past as a gift, and I've still yet to get past the second dungeon. Not much fun replaying a game I completed (repeatedly) about a decade ago, except now with excessive noise ("YEEAHT YEEEAAAHT YEEAAAHT!" - Link) and on a pocket sized screen.
