Nintendo Revolution... WOW...

When I first saw the controller, my first impression was :Q WTF?!?

Then, when you look at this video (Link), I was completely hooked.

This is everything that controllers have ever been destined for. Every first time gamer tugs the controller left and right to move around.

I think this really is the greatest advancement in console history. Everything else has been graphical advancements. This changes how games are played... it's now interactive!

Add to it the fact that you can still connect either the gamecube controller or their rumored shell, you can use a normal controller as well.

AND you get access to all their old games!

I  N!

that looks so awesome. baseball, golf, hockey, fps, all those games will rock.

I wonder how rpgs would work though. Wouldn't it be hard to move without a joystick or d-pad?

It still includes a d-pad and buttons I believe

and maybe they'll even find a way to make RPGs work with this new method

That really shows us nothing about how it *actually* works with games. It's all speculation until you can see the interaction between the controller and the games. 😕

Wow revolutionary, they made a light-gun into a remote control, well thats my point of view. Not like they are really revolutionary in this, I meen the old NES had a light gun, they just made it smaller and functional for other types of games.

Wow, you saw an advertisement for a hyped product.

This thing doesn't look very 'revolutionary' to me. Sure, for some games it could be fun to use it, but overall I don't see it revolutionizing video games.

reminds me of when the n64 came out, and everyone was getting weirded out by that controller.

the revo controller looks really interesting, to say the least. i hope it works out well.

oh, and its not just a light gun in a remote, its got some gyroscopes in it or something.

Going from a stick to free movement.

How can you not call that a revolution?

You are only forigiven because the search is broken ...

but welcome to over a month ago 😛

and yes, i agree the revolution looks cool as shlt. i have lost faith in nintendo after giving them one last hope w/the gamecube and it sucking, but if this revolution really stays under $200, then I'm going to get one.

EDIT:

The steering wheel looks pretty cool too

Dude, that wheel does look pretty cool. I wonder how well it will work...

movement + sound != gameplay... that shows nothing of how it will be in games - its just people (for the most part) looking like a bunch of retards😛
