There's a point in time with age where you finally figure out that it's not worth the effort to grab EVERYTHING just because and even less reason to leave it in the box. I think this is one of those times.

Not a bad deal, considering the Wii U on Amazon is $340 without a bundle and they have the WW remake for $60... seriously Nintendo?

Still not worth the price though. I actually really liked WW, but not that much.

And I don't understand the notion that this will be at all collectible. It won't.

I bought three of them. Hoping the other two would pay for the one I keep. I really wished they released the 3dsXL Zelda bundle. Can't believe they did not do it. Makes so much more sense since it is a true sequel to link to the past.

so you're paying $300 to play a game next month that you could have probably paid $50 to play today.

SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT PLAN WHERE DO I SIGN UP?

Any limited edition Zelda bundle in the history of Nintendo says you're wrong. Like those $350+ already Zelda 3DS systems?

Haven't clicked the link, but how does the art style of Wind Waker lend itself to a remake? There just isn't anything gained by remaking it on a new system.

Apparently they have redone the whole game. The comparisons look really good. I personally don't think windwaker should be 50 it should be 30.

That is also a much more popular console (well, handheld) and a much popular more Zelda game. People don't sit around being nostalgic about Wind Waker (well, I guess some do, but not many). People sit around and remember OoT as being the best Zelda ever (which I disagree with, but the majority of people still think it) Wind Waker is considered MAYBE in the top 5.

$400+ Zelda edition Gameboy SP

$100+ pokemon special edition Gameboys and N64 for BARE USED CONSOLES

$300+ for Pikachu 3DS XL that JUST came out and sold out same day

Special edition Nintendo hardware esp Pokemon and Zelda is always a safe bet.

FYI I didn't have a Wii U yet. So look at it like a $299 Deluxe. Everything else is a bonus.

i'd also be willing to bet that if you put $300 in a roth ira that it would be worth a lot more money than the wii-u bundle will be in 20 years.

Again, you are comparing very popular game and consoles to rather unpopular ones. Pokemon is like the best selling franchise in gaming history. Also, this is a regular WiiU (from I can tell by the picture) bundled with a game. The Gameboy SP was actually different (was gold and had the Triforce, etc).

edit: looking at the more detailed pictures (surprised the link actually worked) it does have a special gamepad, but the console itself looks like a generic WiiU. Still, I hardly see this being a collector's item.

Right because Windwaker and Twilight Princess for GameCube aren't also $50 used games. Skyward Sword bundle isn't $100 either. Not popular at all.

Bottom line is I didn't have a Wii U yet anyway. This is just icing on the cake.

I'm mostly happy to get one now instead of missing it somehow and only seeing them on EBay for $500+.

I am not advocating not buying one, I just think you will be hard pressed to sell additional units for more than you paid (after shipping, eBay fees, and inflation). It just doesn't seem like a good investment.

Yup.

I honestly don't do a whole ton of limited edition stuff, I passed on Bioshock Infinite, GTAV, Borderlands, and other popular high volume games. But anything Nintendo, Zelda or JRPG is a no brainer, as are those rare once in a generation games like The Last of Us.

Should look up how much my Ni no Kuni Wizard Edition and The Last of Us Post Pandemic Edition are worth 😀

I should note that I do not typically buy multiples or flip them, its just nice to know I'm not throwing away money on this hobby when I can see my used complete game a year later is worth more than I paid for it new :awe:

I really loved Wind Waker but am going to wait to buy a Nintendo console again because once you're done with that game, there's nothing else to play.

glad I ordered three.

I cancelled the Wii U Zelda bundle order. Now I am only buying two. one for me and one for potential profit. Weird how some of them have been selling for 450-500 on ebay. Maybe international buyers?
