Well, maybe. It says FFXI will be on PS2 and XBox, and likely the Cube as well. Well, this just ices the cake for me. I was 99% set on the Gamecube, and if they finally gave in and let Square back in, I can see no reason not to get it

To be honest, the last Squaresoft game I liked was Brave Fencer Musashiden. I didn't care for any of the further Final Fantasy games (VII - X, right?) or any of the other games, for that matter. I've been paying a lot more attention to Enix recently.

haha..its a shame they have gotten back pretty much all of them And what was keeping Square away was Nintendo not wanting them, not the other way around.

Deeko: i dunno yet, i dont like the whole 'pay to play' thing... if the game cost 15 bucks, and it was 5 a month to play... that would be cool... but im shellin' out like 50 to buy it, then i gotta pay more after that... (not sure how much) still up in the air, but it does look like cool stuff.

Yeah I remember Nintendo saying they didn't want to have anything to do with them - dunno why, it's not like there's no money to be made there. But I still think Square shoulda explored other options besides getting back with the Big N

There's Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. FFIX is coming to the PS2 and XBox - what other options would there be?

Hold on guys, unless it's official with Nintendo I wouldn't be jumpin for joy. This could be just Square's 'wish' that they can be on the Gamecube. Nothing has been confirmed.
Think of this as a bad marriage. Nintendo and Square got married. Square cheated on Nintendo. Square wants to make up with Nintendo. Nintendo rejects Square. Now Square is begging for Nintendo.
