I just bought a DS with the Metroid game. What an age we live in!

The game is pretty tough to play with the stylus though.

Also, is there no filtering? The graphics look remiscent of Playstation 1.

the DS doesn't use polygon's at all, it's all sprite based (i believe) so maybe that's why it doesn't that great.

The DS isn't supposed to be a graphical powerhouse.

It's a lot easier to play with the thumbstrap. I think the graphics look amazing for the DS.

Yeah Metroid Prime is amazing, I've adapted to using the stylus between my fingers while I move, but the game is still hard to complete.

Nintendo systems never compete w/ other console companies in terms of graphics. What they lack in graphic, they make up in game play. I'm playing MPH on my DSL as well; on the 2nd lvl. I wish my hands weren't so damn big, 'cause it's kinda uncomfortable picking out enemies w/ the stylus using my right hand and pushing the left shoulder button to shoot them.

Regarding the thumb strap. Is it just me or does the thumb strap only come w/ the fat DS and not the new DSL?
